.Net Software Developer

TMT First are a fast growing technology company based in Newcastle Under Lyme.

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer to initially build and implement a new project consisting of transferring and storing sensitive data via API between our internal systems and customers. In addition to this you will be supporting the development of our internal warehouse management system and reporting requirements.

Remote working is available during COVID but predominantly office based after that although with some flexibility.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate success in a similar environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Build and maintain customer facing API's.
• Development of bespoke internal systems.
• To ensure development support tickets are dealt with in a professional and timely manner in line with internal KPI's.
• Provide support and guidance to team members.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.
• Support the planning and implementation of new development projects / requirements.
• Work with 3rd party IT/software support companies.
• Willing to take on and tackle challenging tasks / projects.

Key Requirements

• Proficient in .Net framework languages.
• Proficient in REST or SOAP Web Services.
• Experience with MySQL / SQL.
• A flexible approach to ever-evolving business priorities and requirements.
• Strong organisational & planning skills.
• Excellent methodical thinking / problem solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all departments & levels of seniority.

Desirable Skills

• Understanding of Linux.
• Knowledge using AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
